Living in Joyful Relationship with the World

We’re supporting the emergence of a bigger community of people who live with reverence and love and in beautiful and joyful relationships.

Relationships are fundamentally about connection and exchange.

About give and take - offering and receiving.

What’s most profound and fascinating to me is that attitude makes all the difference.

Relationships can be transactional or meaningful. They can can be Care-less or Care-full. And it’s entirely up to us to choose how we want to relate and be in relationship.

When we focus on ourselves, or on the other, then there’s a sense of separation. Perhaps it’s mutually beneficial, but not necessarily.

Reciprocity happens by chance.

When we focus on the relationship, there’s a sense of connection and interbeing. The awareness that we are part of something greater that unifies us can arise.

This is essential to our happiness.

If we can make the choice, again and again and again, to be in relationship with reverence and love, with open hearts, and togetherness, this world we live in will continue to heal.

And often the trickiest part of all is… our relationship with ourselves. Can we be in relationship with ourselves that is based in reverence and love and an open heart?

Our relationship with ourselves is usually based upon the way the world related to us when we were children. Well, the world is still waking up and most of us were not always (ever?) treated with reverence and love and an open heart.

And that’s what we’re trying to change here with our weekly 10 minute dances and monthly gatherings of Mama’s (and soon Papa’s), with our newsletters and articles, with our community, with therapy and acupuncture and craniosacral and herbal medicine.

No, it’s not always pretty or easy. We don’t always live up to vision with perfection. We make mistakes. We grieve, we rage, we hide, we slip. Then we pick each other or ourselves up and keep walking with one gentle foot in front of the other.

The magic is in realness of the process. The magic is in forgiveness.

Hopefully on the coattails of our 4th of July Independence Day Celebrations we can shift back into Interdependence - a way of living in joyful relationships with the world.
